The most important concept with respect to ‘sitting’. Sitting – standing – sitting – moving – sitting – springing up – sitting. Like beats in music. Like variable notes in music.

There are two types of sitting:
Some very difficult measurements but being aware of such measurements may just help the body’s state of being:
Wow! I could articulate such measurements.
Two new terms for me in the context of sitting: Perching and Dynamic Sitting.
Wikipedia page says Dynamic Sitting is the opposite of Static Sitting. It’s like saying Virtual Reality is the opposite of Physical Reality. No, more like Online is the opposite of Offline.
Have you found weirdly opposing opposites?
I tried simulating the-saddle-chair-sitting on a normal chair, opening the legs wide out, keeping the level of knees much lower than the hips while sitting, and yes I could see that my spine automatically got into a natural erect shape. It works just like that.
Important to adopt the saddle-chair-sitting for usual working days, now that I’ve observed this through a simple simulation.
And since I’ve been looking at legs and posture and trousers and chairs, it wasn’t too far for me to search for a term like ergonomic trousers. Ergonomic chairs, ergonomic trousers. And there are trousers called as such. Wow! What a world, small!
Apparently, these saddle chairs are marketed quite a lot as dental equipment. Funny! As if only dentists sit and work.

How do I get hold of something like this? I may make one with the old Bajaj scooter seat…
Lying (180 degrees, horizontal orientation)
Reclining (135 degrees, horizontal orientation)
Sitting (90 degrees)
Standing (180 degrees, vertical orientation)
There are varieties of Lying and varieties of Sitting.
Varieties of Sitting are determined by what are we engaged with or in.
Sleeping – 8 hrs
Standing – barely or less than half an hour in the entire day (apart from standing for the purpose of lifting weights)
Sitting – You can imagine!
Moving on 2 legs – 1.5 hours hopefully (apart from moving for the purpose of lifting weights)
I won’t be surprised if Yoga emerged as a negation of standing, and accentuation of sitting for the purpose of good health, and experiencing a lot of moving without moving much, because it is quite obvious that we can’t move all through the day. Do farmers Yoga? Does the roaming vegetable vendor Yoga?
