These Nike shoes with a good high heel compared to the flat barefoot style shoes are serving me alright. Now, at the moment, I don’t quite know what to do with the shoe project.
Fitting and finding a fit for any thing that goes on to the body, that’s a perennial project.
These knit-shoes, they are horrible. And the horribility is everywhere in the market. What are folks paying for?! And what are these shoe-makers thinking, and charging for?!
Actually, it’s not the shoe that’s perfect. Your feet are perfect, and then the maker of the shoe who may be perfect. It’s not the shoe.
Yes, I want socks
that save my feet from the shoes,
and that save the shoes from my feet.
I visited a Crocs showroom to try my luck. By the length of my foot, the size turns out to be 10. By the width, it turns out to be 11. Which means if I want shoes wide-enough to comfortably accommodate my feet, I have to wear shoes longer (about 3 quarters of an inch longer) than my feet. How folks of this country continue to endure such crap!
Feet are 3 dimensional. And everyone’s feet, unique like their bodies and faces. And yet, in this country, most shoe sellers sell on the basis of one dimension: length.
She says, you gotta spend time finding the right fit, the right shoes! Wow!
I wonder how the shoe sellers create such enormous range of shoes and such huge businesses in this day and age and dish out such obvious crap.
Horrible quality of shoes shoe-makers are offering. Quite horrible. Pathetic material. Bad bad sizing.
If the shoes rose high onto my calves, even short-looking pants may look good.
The first pic of the shoe, when selling online, should be the one taken from the top.
If the feet don’t feel right, health in danger.
So there’s a standard foot size. And anything deviating from the standard size must be accommodated by a size smaller or bigger, when buying shoes. That’s the trick. It sounds obvious right now, but it wasn’t for so long. Strange!
Shoe manufacturers! God, that’s a list I keep postponing.
The way things are. I figured some time back that the way a body is scanned for medical purposes, our feet can also be scanned and sized, and the interior volume of shoes can also be measured, and then the two can be matched to figure a good buy for the customer.
Like I said, some time back. Right now my shoe choices are such they involve largely very fluid and floppy and stretchy material in the shoe construction.
Now I wonder, why are such stiff shoes made in the first place. May be, for tough terrains, but I still don’t have great answers.
