  • The Fight against Dust

In your fight against Dust, dust wins.

You have to find a protocol to enjoy Dust, to live with it and make it beautiful.

This is a difficult one many Indian women.

  • Beauty and Uniformity

Look at the patterns of Polka Dots on any surface. Garments, upholstery, painting et al. Uniform and mostly looks beautiful.

Imagine that trees of a type are all uniform. Trunk, branches, twigs, leaves… That feels like horror.

Look at children all dressed in uniforms. Normally they look beautiful not because of their uniforms but because of the fact that they are children, in different heights, and faces with different characteristics of childhood.

Packaged food on the shop-shelves, am sure you can’t make up your mind to determine whether you’ve ever found them beautiful.

  • Salesman gets the greatest amount

Salesman connects with prospects, interacts and closes the deals.

There’s this who fetches the leads or helps the seller connect with prospects. The onus of deep interaction and closing the deal lies on the seller.

Architects, contractors, Interior designers are salesmen? May be aggregators too. They take a huge cut and have been steadily increasing the rate of the cut with every passing. Seller is just a stockist now.

  • Making Sense of Competition

A jeweler competes with another jeweler, so goes the automatic thinking.

What competes with the activity of cycling? Sleeping, laziness, Tennis, watching TV? What competes?

Jeweler is competing with cheap sex. Jeweler doesn’t get this often. Jeweler talks and reads books on economics. Jeweler doesn’t get it that he is competing with cheap sex.

  • Swift and Focused?

    Swiftness forces you to focus.

Being swift without focus, how does that work? Have you seen someone like that?

    Focus isn’t always spelled out.

  • About ‘holding a grudge’

    Daily writing prompt
Are you holding a grudge? About?

    I think I do. Many grudges. And then I think I don’t.

‘Holding a grudge’, phrasing this way feels like it is a deliberate conscious act/action/activity. And because of such phrasing, we may also end up thinking we can ‘unhold’ a grudge.

There are ways of looking at a ‘grudge’, even treating it. But just because there exists some ‘grudge’ doesn’t mean we are ‘holding’ it. :)

  • Habits & Movements

Many new purchases force folks into new movements.

Movements depend on habits. Or is it the other way? Habits depend on movements.

Make a new move, feel good, make a new habit. That’s the challenge for start-ups.

Now how many moves can folks fit into their day?

  • Online shopping descriptions the way they are currently…

Online shopping descriptions, the way they are currently done, aren’t sufficient. A simple change, though not easily acceptable given how entrenched certain ways of doing things have become, may change a lot for the shoppers.

In its show of customer-friendliness Amazon often says, “No questions asked RETURNS”, and customers feel safe. Is that good enough?

Disclaimers are more like warning bells. Not sure if they help making good choices.

Pipelines of action and pipelines of conversations, one point is you don’t see them and the other is they aren’t aligned, and surely they aren’t the same. There are only intersections. You got to find the intersections.

Moments give birth to words, in the forms of novels, novellas, essays, pamphlets, articles, papers, studies textbooks et al.

But that correspondence between moments and aphorisms!

Suppose I make a quote like: Every moment maps to an aphorism.
