  • Textbooks

Spending years and years surrounded by textbooks and reluctantly reading them to score ‘marks’. What madness! Learning can change. Should change. Must change.

Just read a compelling gripping expression: TRUTH CLAIM

    Style : Fashion

    Truth-claim : Knowledge

    Wow!

I won’t talk any more about it at the moment. Let this sink in.

  • Invisible Obstacles

Some expressions barely make sense to me. But for people to exchange ideas, expressions have to be ‘created’ and expressed in very short moments. And so, even if the expressions are not quite there in terms of what they try to capture and represent, they gain currency.

For slow stubborn minds like mine however, they are invisible obstacles to overcome. The invisibility adds to the slowness and what makes them obstacles.

    Take an example: Civil Engineering.

Now it feels like a simple thing to grasp, isn’t it. But not for me.

Here’s what it means: Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.

You’d say what’s the big deal here. Right. No big deal, except that I’ve grasped and understood its meaning only now.

  • Chin-ups-in-Progress

    Dear Razia Sultan,

So my motion through chin-ups has gotten so much better. Am pleasantly surprised. Took quite a long time to come to this. I wouldn’t have imagined such a long time, but then I didn’t keep a track of progress in motion and time, both. I just kept doing different variations and tried to improve the counts.

Did you keep a track of your age Razia Sultan? How would you have measured the impact of your incredible political moves?

Here I am just happy with my chin-up counts.

  • I’ve got to figure out now how Group works. What is the meaning of Stack, Column, Row… That will help me use this Blank theme and Query Loops better.

    One response to “”

    1. DFY Magic Themes Avatar

Grouping is an important part of data analysis andGrouping can be done in many ways, one common way is by using the Stack and Column properties on a data array. Each time a data array is created, the Stack property is set to the value of the first column in the array and the Column property is set to the value of the second column. This way, when data is entered into a data array, the first column is always used to store the data and the second column is used to group the data.

In 2 entities that teach you the same thing, your learning may end up being different.

The trouble is, colleges in India are so far removed from the world outside college, learning in college feels grossly inadequate when the student joins any organization.

Again and again, I use the term ‘timeline’ when I want to mean ‘feed’. It takes a lot of time to make such terms a habitual part of my language. Why?
