Marching out in protest without a threat to anyone, is that even a protest?

Protests are a function of time. And must be understood as a function of time.

Riots are myopic acts, not protests.

  • The way things are I figured some time…

The way things are. I figured some time back that the way a body is scanned for medical purposes, our feet can also be scanned and sized, and the interior volume of shoes can also be measured, and then the two can be matched to figure a good buy for the customer.

Like I said, some time back. Right now my shoe choices are such they involve largely very fluid and floppy and stretchy material in the shoe construction.

Now I wonder, why are such stiff shoes made in the first place. May be, for tough terrains, but I still don’t have great answers.

This morning is dedicated to the discovery of Peter Mendelsund. I am gonna get both his works. If it were a swimming pool, I would have my lunch, breakfast and dinner all served right there.

The lump in my throat, it’s not pity. It’s my body’s simplest response to the observation of life. I gotta swallow it. I can’t pity. Shame, yes. Pity, no!
