Dear Shoe-lover,
I posted this on Facebook and some friends commented.
2 of them wrote the word ‘comfortable’ without any prompting.
You see, the picture doesn’t show all sides of the shoe. It is a top view, and shows the shape of the front part of the shoe fairly clearly.
Given this picture, mentioning ‘comfortable’ implies one thing. For some (am trying to be semantically correct) wearers, the front part, that is the toe-box part, of the shoes worn generally in this country is a reason for discomfort.
Those are just 2 comments, Siddharth. Do a comprehensive multi-million dollar study and publish a paper, and based on that get an article published once every month for 24 months. Then perhaps some of us may get to read one article somewhere and even then not understand your point. But you can wear your shoes with your head held high you see.
