I found out about you not through my history books. History teacher was soporific. Classroom was soporific.
But that Hema Malini song that ringed in my ears for years and years, somehow, prompted me one day to read about you.
And then after having read just those little bits about you, I felt Hema Malini, as much as I liked her | she was so so so beautiful, she couldn’t embody your spirit. Would another director may have projected her better? Or would another story, not a romantic one, made her portray you in a great way?
